General Terms
Performance
RC Legal Solutions will provide suitably qualified personnel to carry out the work and will carry out the work using reasonable skill and care and in accordance with accepted professional standards.
Free door to door file collection and return using our own in-house courier, as well as delivering any files to the Court. Secure download and 2 factor authentication for receipt/sending of electronic papers.
Competitive turn a round of files.
Fees
Our aim is to remain flexible and provide competitive rates for our Clients on terms to be agreed with them before a working relationship between us, commences.
Professional Indemnity
RC Legal Solutions maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance. The liability of RC Legal Solutions for any breach of this Agreement, or arising in any other way out of the subject-matter of this Agreement, will not extend to any incidental or consequential damages or losses or any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of contracts or opportunity.
In any event, the maximum liability of RC Legal Solutions to the Client under or otherwise in connection with this Agreement or its subject-matter is equal to the total of the sums payable by the Client under his Agreement.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to exclude or restrict any liability of RC Legal Solutions in respect of death or personal injury cases by its negligence.
Termination
The Client may terminate instructions to us in writing at any time. Work completed up to the date of notice of termination will be invoiced for all works carried out and payable within 30 days.
Third Parties
R Costings may be required to engage a third party on your behalf (e.g. Barrister). RC Legal Solutions cannot accept any responsibility for any act or omission of a third party unless otherwise agreed.
Force Majeure
If RC Legal Solutions performance of the work is delayed or prevented by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, then RC Legal Solutions will use all reasonable endeavours to resume performance as soon as possible, but will not be in breach of this Agreement because of any delay in performance.
Confidentiality
RC Legal Solutions will keep information passed to it, confidential and will not knowingly, nor intentionally disclose it to any third parties, unless authorised by the Client or as required by law.
RC Legal Solutions will not breach this obligation to the extent the confidential information which is disclosed or becomes publicly known without the fault of RC Legal Solutions.
Files will be shredded after expiry of 6 years from archive.
Data Protection
RC Legal Solutions is committed to privacy for everyone. Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we must comply with certain requirements which are designed to ensure that any Data you provided to us is processed with due care and attention. Our Privacy Policy is tailored to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR)
Rights of Third Parties
For the purpose of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, we agree that no term of this Agreement with you is enforceable by a Third Party.
Law
A contract between RC Legal Solutions and the client will be governed under English Law.
